1. Introduction

SnapLetterCount is a free, browser-based text analysis tool designed to help users count characters, words, sentences, paragraphs, and letters in real time. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your information.

2. No Text Storage or Processing on Servers

SnapLetterCount is built with a privacy-first architecture. All text you enter into the tool:

• is processed entirely in your browser
• is never sent to any server, and never transmitted for counting
• is never logged, stored on our servers, or analyzed externally

One clarification, because precision matters: so you do not lose your work when you move between counters, your current draft is saved in your own browser's local storage under the key slc:draft. That copy stays on your device, is readable only by this site in this browser, and is never uploaded. Press Clear in the counter, or clear your browser's site data, and the saved draft is deleted immediately.

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data directly from users. However, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data to improve the website. This may include:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Approximate location (country/city level)
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Referral source
• Anonymized IP address

This data cannot be used to personally identify you.

Google Consent Mode v2 is active. Before you decide, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization are all set to denied, so no analytics cookies are written. Advertising consent is never requested because SnapLetterCount runs no ads. You can change your choice at any time via Privacy settingsin the footer.

6. How We Use Data

We use anonymized data to:

We do not sell or share your data.

Google Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. We do not store any data ourselves.
